2). Conversely, asynchronous motors generate induced current in the rotor through the stator's rotating magnetic field to produce electromagnetic torque, leading to a rotor speed lower than the synchronous speed.

3). Permanent magnet motors offer a power density roughly 30% higher than that of asynchronous motors with equivalent power, allowing a reduction of 1-2 frame sizes. This size reduction leads to decreased iron and mechanical losses.
