Principle of Energy Saving
1). By leveraging high-performance rare earth permanent magnet materials, the rotor generates a constant magnetic field, driven by the stator's rotating magnetic field. This ensures rotor speed aligns with synchronous speed without the need for excitation current or windings, thereby maximizing energy efficiency.
2). Conversely, asynchronous motors induce current in the rotor via the stator's rotating magnetic field to produce electromagnetic torque, resulting in a rotor speed below synchronous speed.
3). Permanent magnet motors feature a power density approximately 30% higher than asynchronous motors of equivalent power, allowing for a reduction of 1-2 frame sizes, effectively decreasing both iron and mechanical losses.
4). The permanent magnet synchronous motor distinguishes itself with superior efficiency compared to its asynchronous counterpart of equal power. It is particularly notable for its expansive high-efficiency zone. Operating within a speed range of 25% to 100% of the rated speed, this motor remains consistently in the high-efficiency zone, whereas an asynchronous motor experiences a precipitous drop in efficiency when speed falls below 70% of the rated speed.
