1). By utilizing high-performance rare earth permanent magnets, the rotor of the synchronous motor creates a constant magnetic field, energized by permanent magnets and current. The stator's rotating magnetic field propels the rotor magnetic field, achieving synchronization without requiring excitation current or winding, thus ensuring high energy efficiency.
2). In contrast, asynchronous motors rely on induced current generated by the stator's rotating magnetic field to produce electromagnetic torque, resulting in a rotor speed that must lag the synchronous speed.
3). Boasting a power density approximately 30% higher than that of equivalent asynchronous motors, permanent magnet motors excel in efficiency. They are 1-2 frame sizes smaller than asynchronous motors of the same power, leading to reduced iron and mechanical losses thanks to their compact size.
