Principle of Energy Saving
1). By employing high-performance rare earth permanent magnet materials, the rotor creates a consistent magnetic field, driven by the stator's rotating magnetic field, ensuring the rotor speed matches the synchronous speed without the need for excitation current or windings, thus optimizing energy efficiency.
2). Conversely, asynchronous motors develop induced current within the rotor through the stator's rotating magnetic field to generate electromagnetic torque, resulting in a rotor speed that is below synchronous speed.
3). Permanent magnet motors offer a power density approximately 30% greater than asynchronous motors of similar power, allowing for a reduction of 1-2 frame sizes, which diminishes both iron and mechanical losses.
4). The permanent magnet synchronous motor delivers superior efficiency when compared to its asynchronous equivalent of the same power. Its true strength lies in its extensive high-efficiency zone. Operating at speeds between 25% and 100% of the rated speed, this motor consistently remains within the high-efficiency zone. In contrast, the efficiency of an asynchronous motor plummets sharply when the speed falls below 70% of its rated speed.
