Principle of energy saving
1). Harnessing high-performance rare earth permanent magnets, the rotor of the synchronous motor creates a stable magnetic field, powered solely by permanent magnets and current. The stator's rotating magnetic field drives the rotor magnetic field, achieving synchronization with no need for excitation current or winding, ensuring superior energy efficiency.
2). Conversely, asynchronous motors depend on induced current produced by the stator's rotating magnetic field to create electromagnetic torque, leading to a rotor speed that inevitably lags the synchronous speed.
3). With a power density roughly 30% higher than that of equivalent asynchronous motors, permanent magnet motors excel in efficiency. They are 1-2 frame sizes smaller than asynchronous motors of the same power, resulting in reduced iron and mechanical losses due to their compact dimensions.
4). The remarkable Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) stands as a testament to superior engineering, boasting exceptional efficiency that surpasses that of asynchronous motors with comparable power ratings. This motor consistently delivers high-efficiency performance across a wider operational spectrum. From 25% to 100% of its rated speed, the PMSM ensures a consistently high-efficiency level.
