1). Utilizing high-performance rare earth permanent magnets, the rotor of the synchronous motor generates a fixed magnetic field, energized by permanent magnets and current. The stator's rotating magnetic field drives the rotor magnetic field, achieving synchronization without the necessity for excitation current or winding, thereby ensuring high energy efficiency.
2). In contrast, asynchronous motors rely on induced current generated by the stator's rotating magnetic field to produce electromagnetic torque, leading to a rotor speed that must lag the synchronous speed.
3). With a power density approximately 30% higher than that of equivalent asynchronous motors, permanent magnet motors excel in efficiency. They are 1-2 frame sizes smaller than asynchronous motors of the same power, resulting in reduced iron and mechanical losses due to their compactness.
