Principle of Energy Saving
1). Utilizing high-performance rare earth permanent magnet materials, the rotor produces a consistent magnetic field, facilitated by the stator's rotating magnetic field. This ensures rotor speed alignment with synchronous speed, eliminating the need for excitation current or windings and maximizing energy efficiency.
2). In contrast, asynchronous motors induce current in the rotor via the stator's rotating magnetic field to generate electromagnetic torque, resulting in a rotor speed lower than the synchronous speed.
3). Permanent magnet motors boast a power density approximately 30% higher than asynchronous motors of the same power, enabling a reduction of 1-2 frame sizes. This size reduction diminishes iron and mechanical losses.
4). The permanent magnet synchronous motor offers superior efficiency compared to asynchronous equivalents of equal power, characterized by its expansive high-efficiency zone. Operating within a speed range of 25% to 100% of the rated speed, this motor consistently remains in the high-efficiency zone. Conversely, an asynchronous motor undergoes a significant efficiency drop below 70% of the rated speed.
