Principle of Energy Saving
1). By utilizing high-performance rare earth permanent magnet materials, the rotor generates a consistent magnetic field, driven by the stator's rotating magnetic field. This ensures that the rotor speed synchronizes with the synchronous speed without the need for excitation current or windings, thereby optimizing energy efficiency.
2). Conversely, asynchronous motors induce current in the rotor through the stator's rotating magnetic field to generate electromagnetic torque, resulting in a rotor speed that lags behind the synchronous speed.
3). Permanent magnet motors offer a power density approximately 30% higher than asynchronous motors of equivalent power, allowing for a reduction of 1-2 frame sizes. This size reduction contributes to decreased iron and mechanical losses.
4). The permanent magnet synchronous motor boasts superior efficiency compared to its asynchronous counterparts of equal power. Its expansive high-efficiency zone is a hallmark feature. Operating within a speed range of 25% to 100% of the rated speed, this motor steadfastly remains in the high-efficiency zone. Conversely, an asynchronous motor undergoes a significant efficiency drop when the speed falls below 70% of the rated speed.
