2). In contrast, asynchronous motors produce induced current in the rotor via the stator's rotating magnetic field to generate electromagnetic torque, leading to a rotor speed lower than synchronous speed.
3). Permanent magnet motors boast a power density roughly 30% higher than asynchronous motors of equal power, allowing for a reduction of 1-2 frame sizes. This size reduction results in decreased iron and mechanical losses, enhancing overall efficiency.
