2). In contrast, asynchronous motors rely on the induced current generated in the rotor by the stator's rotating magnetic field to produce electromagnetic torque. This indirect generation causes the rotor to operate at speeds below the synchronous speed.

3). Permanent magnet motors demonstrate a power density approximately 30% higher than that of asynchronous motors with equivalent power, leading to motors that are 1-2 frame sizes smaller for the same power output, thereby reducing iron and mechanical losses.
