Principle of Energy Saving
1). By utilizing high-performance rare earth permanent magnets, the rotor of the synchronous motor generates a fixed magnetic field, powered by permanent magnets and current. The stator's rotating magnetic field propels the rotor magnetic field, achieving synchronization without requiring excitation current or winding, thus ensuring high energy efficiency.
2). In contrast, asynchronous motors rely on induced current generated by the stator's rotating magnetic field to produce electromagnetic torque, resulting in a rotor speed that must lag behind the synchronous speed.
3). With a power density approximately 30% higher than that of equivalent asynchronous motors, permanent magnet motors excel in efficiency. They are 1-2 frame sizes smaller than asynchronous motors of the same power, leading to reduced iron and mechanical losses due to their compact size.
4). The Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) stands at the forefront of efficiency, surpassing traditional asynchronous motors with identical power ratings.
