Principle of Energy Saving
1). The permanent magnet synchronous motor rotor is equipped with cutting-edge rare earth permanent magnet materials that forge a steadfast magnetic field through permanent magnets and current. This interaction allows the stator's rotating magnetic field to propel the rotor magnetic field, maintaining synchronous speed without necessitating excitation current or winding, thus achieving superior energy efficiency.
2). In contrast, asynchronous motors rely on induced current generated by the stator's rotating magnetic field to create electromagnetic torque. As the rotor does not directly produce the magnetic field, it operates below synchronous speed.
3). The power density of permanent magnet motors is approximately 30% higher than asynchronous motors of equivalent power. This efficiency allows permanent magnet motors to be 1-2 frame sizes smaller, reducing both iron and mechanical losses, underscoring their compact and efficient design.
