Principle of Energy Saving
1). Utilizing high-performance rare earth permanent magnet materials, the rotor generates a constant magnetic field, driven by the stator's rotating magnetic field, ensuring rotor speed matches synchronous speed without necessitating excitation current or windings, thus optimizing energy efficiency.
2). Conversely, asynchronous motors induce current in the rotor via the stator's rotating magnetic field to generate electromagnetic torque, resulting in a rotor speed below synchronous speed.
3). Permanent magnet motors possess a power density approximately 30% higher than asynchronous motors of equivalent power, allowing for a reduction of 1-2 frame sizes. This compact size decreases both iron and mechanical losses.
4). The permanent magnet synchronous motor excels in efficiency compared to its asynchronous counterpart of equal power. Its expansive high-efficiency zone is remarkable, maintaining efficiency over a speed range of 25% to 100% of the rated speed. Conversely, an asynchronous motor experiences a pronounced efficiency drop when speed falls below 70% of the rated speed.
